County Shield
Details of the shield are as follows
Meeting in Copsewood College, Pallaskenry on Saturday 30^th at 8:30am and pickup is on Monday 2^nd at 3pm.
We have arranged for 4 Scouts to go shopping on Thursday. Ronan is bringing them in.
We have also arranged for 5 Scouts to organise the equipment on Friday with Ronan and Denis. See you there guys.

We are having our challenge day this Sunday for founders day.

It's a new year and we have a waiting list for Cubs and Scouts. We are still looking for memenbers for Beavers

Curraghchase Camp
Camp is organised for Curraghchase this weekend. We are meeting on Friday night at 7:30pm and collection is on Sunday at 3pm from the scout centre
If you do not know where the scout centre is, please get in contact with us and we will give you directions. Click this link for google maps location
The Scouts are going to be invested on Saturday at 2pm so parents are welcome to come along to see.
On Saturday night at 7pm we will be having a camp fire with the Cubs.
On Sunday there is an Orienteering event for the whole county, Cubs will also be here
For any parents that are worried about the weather, we do have the option of staying in the house for both nights
Cost of the weekend is €15 and the Orienteering event is €3
Anyone that wants to come to the Orienteering only plese come down to us on Sunday at 9am.

Camp 2011 in Wales
We are having a meeting next Tuesday night 9^th. Please attend if your scout is interested in going.

Ok, so Silvermines went well. No scouts lost, even with the fog. I had a good time and it looks like everyone else enjoyed it also.

Scout bag pack organised on Good Friday 2^nd of April from 6pm to 10pm.
We will be doing this with Clarina.
 
Hike
Scout Hike organised on Sunday 28^th on Knockfierna.
Meeting in Ballingarry petrol station at 10am and returning at 2pm.

Philip and Thomas turned up for the orienteering and won the event with the fastest time
David and Ronan turned up as leaders, Ronan went around with Askeaton and David was on checkout and in.
